What is Office LTSC?
Office LTSC is the on-premises edition of Microsoft’s core productivity apps. Designed for disconnected or restricted environments, Office LTSC does not include any cloud-backed features. It also does not receive any feature updates after launch.
Licensing is acquired for more than five computers through volume licensing. As a one-time purchase, Office does not include any of the services included in Microsoft 365 (for example, Exchange Online, SharePoint Online).
Office 2024 LTSC, including Project and Visio, receive five years of Mainstream Support. After this period, there will be no Extended Support for these products. For more information, see Fixed Lifecycle Policy.
Microsoft Publisher is not included with Office 2024 LTSC. For more information, see Microsoft Publisher will no longer be supported after October 2026.

- Computer and processor – Intel or Apple Silicon (As supported by the three most recent versions of macOS.)
- Memory – 4 GB RAM
- Hard disk – 10 GB of available disk space
- Display – 1280 x 768 screen resolution
- Graphics – No graphics requirements
- Operating system – Office for Mac is supported on the three most recent versions of macOS. As new major versions of macOS are made generally available, Microsoft will stop support for the oldest version and support the newest and previous two versions of macOS.
- Browser – The current version of Microsoft Edge, Safari, Chrome, or Firefox.
- .NET version – Not applicable
